Ella's first visit to Kentucky!

Ella had her second cross country flight this weekend when she went to Kentucky for her first time.  We had a great visit and Ella got to meet a lot of her family and more friends.  She also went to her first football game and did a good job cheering for both the Cats and the Tigers!  Daddy was upset about the loss but mommy was excited about Auburn being 6-0! War Eagle!  We had a great time visiting with everyone and tailgating with friends.  We are looking forward to our next visit!

4 months old!

Again I am a little behind on posting, but Ella was 4 months old on October 2nd!  We went to the doctor for her 4 month checkup and she weighed over 13 lbs and is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height - maybe she is going to be taller than mommy and daddy!  This month she rolled over for the first time, started sitting in her Bumbo chair, started taking her pacifier and had her first flight (cross-country) when we went to Atlanta.  She loved the flight and received several compliments from the passengers because she was so good and never cried!  We are hoping that she will always like traveling with mommy and daddy.  She is a very happy baby - always smiling and laughing and is so alert.  We are more and more in love with her and are looking forward to all the new things she will do and learn this month.

Ella's first visit to Atlanta!

This past weekend we took Ella on her first plane ride to Atlanta.  The flight was a little over 4 hours and she did great (both ways)!  She did not cry at all and entertained the passengers by talking (loudly) which she just started doing recently. We were so happy everything went well and are looking forward to many more flights with her.

We had a wonderful visit in Atlanta.  Ella was a very busy little girl and got to meet and spend time with family, friends and even attended her first wedding!  Here are a few pictures from the flight and many with all her family and friends!

First night with the babysitter!

Last night was a big first for us!  It was Ella's first night with her babysitter Monica (without Mommy being home)!  Brandon and I attended the Festival Ball - a Gala to benefit the City of Hope in San Francisco.  It was at the beautiful St. Francis Hotel in Union Square.  We had a great evening and Ella did great with Monica.  We could get used to more nights like these!

Ella - 3 months old

Our little Ella is 3 months old already and we can not get over how much she has grown! She is so much more alert and smiles and laughs all the time!  She has rolled over by herself a couple of times, but prefers to be on her back for now! She still loves her swing and enjoys going on walks in her stroller and in the Bjorn (now that she can face outward)! She's traveled a little more with trips to Sausalito and Tiburon and even made her 4th visit to Napa!  She also had her first overnight trip with mommy and daddy for their anniversary in Half Moon Bay.  She is such a special little girl and we feel so blessed each day to have her in our lives...Lexi is even becoming a little fonder of having a sister around!

Half Moon Bay, CA - 3 year anniversary

Again we are a little late with our post, but I wanted to share a few pictures from our Anniversary trip (and our first overnight trip with Ella).  Brandon surprised me with a night at the Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay!  It was a great trip and we enjoyed being spoiled for the day!  Ella did great and she told us she can't wait for her next trip to the Ritz!
