Superbowl Cake Pops

Here are our the cake pops that I made for the Super Bowl party  - Colts vs. Saints!  They were a big hit with the kids and adults and so fun to make!  They are super rich so Brandon did not want anymore after he taste tested the batter.  Here is a great website that gives the instructions on how to make them - http://www.bakerella.com/category/pops-bites/cake-pops/. I use Betty Crocker cake mix and add oreos and cream cheese frosting.  They are so yummy!

Early Valentine's Day Dinner...

Brandon and I celebrated Valentine's Day a little early this year, because we are not going to be together on the actual V-Day. We had a great dinner at Paloma Blanca which is our favorite Mexican restaurant here in San Antonio. Brandon had a margarita for both of us and Miss Ella was happy with her dinner as well because she was up doing what felt like summersaults at 5 am this morning. We are so blessed that we have so much LOVE that we can celebrate about this year. Hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day!!

Homemade Headboard....

I have wanted a fabric headboard for our 2nd guest bedroom for a while! I finally researched a couple of sites and found out the best way to make one and made it in less than an hour (once I picked up all the supplies). It's so simple to make and so fun to pick your own fabric. I had bought this fabric 2 years ago and never knew what to make with it, so I decided it would make a great focal point for the bedroom. I'm still working on finding the right linens to go with it, but for now, I've just used some extra linens we already had. If you want to get more information about making one of your own, here is the link - http://www.bejane.com/headboard. I would also suggest investing in an electric staple gun - it made it so much more easy and effortless! Next project - a new headboard for our main guest bedroom!

Ella's First Monogrammed Dress!

Ok, I could not resist this little dress, so I had to get it and I thought it was adorable with a monogram. Now that we have something monogrammed, it makes her name official...Ella Katherine! We are so excited and cannot wait to see our little Ella dressed to impress! I absolutely love it and cannot wait for her to wear it later this year (and hopefully next year :-). I am going to try very hard not to buy anymore clothes for her, but have you seen how cute the little girl clothes are? It's very tempting...
